McLaughlin: Duck DL Must Improve to Win Pac-12 in 2023

Oregon’s pass defense struggled mightily in 2022, most notably allowing 400+ yards through the air to Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. in a 37-34 loss.

Their secondary needs to improve, but their defensive backs need more help from the defensive line after a historically bad season rushing the passer in last year.

On today’s episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin lays out how he thinks the Spring position battles will play out along the defensive line.

Also, Dontae Manning, a former 5-star recruit, has yet to be a regular starter entering Year Four with the Ducks. He still could be.
