Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports reported that soon the Big Ten/SEC are going to exercise their power to expand the 12-team Playoff and give themselves auto-bids beyond their conference championship game in the process.

It appears the Big 12 and ACC have no power to stop whatever is coming.
