Oregon State dealt with rumors of Jonathan Smith leaving for Michigan State in the leadup to this year’s Civil War against Oregon.

That proved to be his last game with the Beavers as he accepted the job with the Spartans.

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin gives his final winners/losers segment of the year after the final week of Pac-12 Football (ever).

There’s just one outright winner this week, but plenty of teams ended the regular season on a high note heading into conference championship/bowl season.

The Cal Bears under Justin Wilcox have qualified for a bowl game for the first time since 2019.

To wrap up today’s show, Spencer takes a well-deserved victory lap as the Bears exactly met his expectations for 2023 after he believed in them starting in March.
