After beating their second straight Top 15 opponent, Chip Kelly’s UCLA Bruins have now leaped to No. 11 in the AP rankings and are 6-0 for the first time since 2005.
A potential Pac-12 Championship dark horse coming into the year, they’ve planted themselves right in the midst of the Conference Championship conversation with their blazing hot start.
On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I look at how the 10 teams that played on Saturday performed in another week of league play.
In addition to UCLA, two other Pac-12 teams are outright “winners” after week 6, though neither is going to contend for a conference championship in 2022.
Some of the favorites struggled and have real questions going forward.
Oregon State and Stanford may have been low stakes in the broad scheme of things, but they had the most thrilling game of the weekend—and an important one for the Beavs.
Washington once again faulted on the road, leaving the Huskies as one of the hardest teams to predict so far in 2022.
