CougFan: Standout Wahington State junior running back Max Borghi, whose 2020 season was limited to a single game due to a back injury, announced on Twitter this evening that he will be returning to WSU for the 2021 season. He wears jersey number 21 and said “2021 is the year of 21!. Excited to run it back with y boys!! Let’s do something special. GO COUGS!!”
His return, coupled with Deon McIntosh’s, positions the Cougars with a powerful one-two backfield combination.
