Lupoi officially confirms Nick Rolovich as Cal QB/assistant head coach

By Jeff Faraudo, California Golden Bears on SI: New Cal football coach Tosh Lupoi has added substantially to his staff. It feels like he has filled every position but there no longer is a limit on coachng staff size and we’re told he may still added a couple more.

Lupoi announced Thursday the retention of seven members of the 2025 staff and the hiring of six more position assistants.

He previously had introduced six assistant coaches, including Jordan Somerville as offensive coordinator and Michael Hutchings as defensive coordinator.
