Lincoln Riley pleased with USC defense, wants more from Bear Alexander

Ten more practices to figure out who is starting at right guard. Ten more practices to sort out the pecking order at wide receiver. Most importantly, it’s 10 more practices to see how far D’Anton Lynn can move his defense forward beyond where it’s already after 10 days of fall camp.

Lincoln Riley painted a very optimistic overall picture of how Lynn’s group performed over the weekend. The Trojans held a scrimmage, and Riley made it clear which side of the ball won the day.
