Lincoln Riley has second-most expensive CFB coaching contract buyout

By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: College football coaching contracts reached record highs, as are buyouts owed when programs pulled the plug prior to the end of agreements. Some of these figures are obscene amounts that leave programs strapped if things go south earlier that expected, as is the case with Texas A&M’s current situation with Jimbo Fisher.

He’s owed $95 million through 2031, meaning Fisher would take home $86 million if the Aggies made a move in December.
