By Connor Morrissette, USCFootball.com: To the segment of the USC fanbase hoping to see backup quarterback Jayden Maiava play meaningful snaps this season, don’t hold your breath.
USC’s offense hasn’t put up the traditional video game-like numbers in Big Ten play fans are accustomed to seeing under Lincoln Riley so far this season. The Trojan offense has averaged 24 points per game in their three Big Ten contests and overall, USC is scoring 30.8 points per game, which ranks 45th nationally.
