By R.J. Abeytia, USCFootball.com: USC’s game film from the first three weeks has produced a plethora of things to like. The Trojans are off to a 3-0 start. They’ve ascended to No. 5 in the latest Associated Press poll. All three games have been blowouts.
But part of the mindset of a championship team is to take an honest look independent of the scoreboard results, and head coach Lincoln Riley and defensive coordinator Alex Grinch have clearly targeted two areas even the Stanford film suggested need work.
