By Thomas Goldkamp, On3 Sports: Every year there are a handful of head coaches who enter the season on the hot seat, knowing they need to win right away or jeopardize their job with their current program.

Someone will be fired early in the season, if past years are any indication.

To that end, Las Vegas has established odds on the first coach fired this season and there are a number of prominent coaches vying for that honor. Most are at Power Five programs that demand a high level of success, ratcheting up the pressure.
