By Brian J. Pedersen, Arizona Desert Swarm: Arizona has yet to play any actual competitions as a member of the Big 12 Conference, but two of its most well-known former athletes have already achieved honorary alumni status.
Former UA standouts Jennie Finch and Richard Jefferson have been named to the Big 12’s inaugural Alumni Council, a 32-member group that conference commissioner Brett Yormark announced on Tuesday at the start of Big 12 Football Media Days.
