247Sports: The NFL world was rocked last night after a blockbuster trade that reportedly will send Matthew Stafford from the Detroit Lions to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for Jared Goff, two first-round picks and a third-round pick. In an offseason where a lot of quarterback movement among teams is expected, this was the first domino to fall.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport detailed that the relationship between Goff and Rams head coach Sean McVay had “some cracks” this past Wednesday. It sure seems like it did based on Goff’s first public comments since the reported trade from the team he signed a four-year, $134 million contract extension with in August 2019.
