By Sam Gillenwater, On3: Kaseem Vauls, a redshirt freshman defensive lineman at Jackson State, nearly lost his life this week after suffering from cardiac arrest on Wednesday. However, as of today, he is in stable condition after surgery Wednesday afternoon.
Vauls had to be resuscitated before that surgery. As of Thursday evening, his father, Williams Vauls, told the Clarion Ledger that Vauls was heavily sedated and is in ‘stable condition, but still critical’.
