We’re about halfway through the Pac-12 football season and a ways into the NFL season, so let’s check in on our first 2022 NFL Mock Draft in quite some time.
There’s been quite a bit of change among the Pac-12’s top prospects outside of Kayvon Thibodeaux so it’s an interesting shakedown at this point.
I created the First-Round Draft order by looking at current records at this point with some projection.
1. Jacksonville – Evan Neal, Tackle, Alabama
2. Detroit – Kyle Hamilton, Safety, Notre Dame
3. Jets – Derek Stingley Jr., Cornerback, LSU
4. Houston – Kayvon Thibodeaux, Defensive End, Oregon

I don’t think Thibodeaux is a top overall take unless you really need a QB rusher, but I certainly think the first team that needs an edge rusher will draft him.
That should be the Texans, or a team in this range, which actually could easily be the team with the top pick anyway.
5. Philadelphia – Andrew Booth Jr., Cornerback, Clemson
6. Washington – Malik Willis, Quarterback, Liberty
7. Giants – DeMarvin Leal, Defensive Tackle, Texas A&M
8. Indianapolis – George Karlaftis, Defensive End, Purdue
9. Atlanta – Aidan Hutchinson, Defensive End, Michigan
10. Miami – Kenyon Green, Guard, Texas A&M
11. Jets – Christopher Allen, Linebacker, Alabama
12. Pittsburgh – Matt Corral, Quarterback, Mississippi
13. Giants – Darian Kinnard, Tackle, Kentucky
14. Philadelphia – Tyler Linderbaum, Center, Iowa
15. Minnesota – Kaiir Elam, Cornerback, Florida
16. New England – Ahmad Gardner, Cornerback, Cincinnati
17. Denver – Carson Strong, Quarterback, Nevada
18. Las Vegas – Jordan Davis, Defensive Tackle, Georgia
19. Carolina – Chris Olave, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
20. New Orleans – Sam Howell, Quarterback, North Carolina
21. Cincinnati – Ikem Ekwonu, Tackle, NC State
22. Cleveland – Garrett Wilson, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
23. Tennessee – Myjai Sanders, Defensive End, Cincinnati
24. Green Bay – Treylon Burks, Wide Receiver, Arkansas
25. Detroit – Drake London, Wide Receiver, USC

There should be a lot of teams in the mid-to-late part of the First Round that need receivers, and that’s great news for London.
I love London as a big pass-catcher who can also make big plays and be a legit downfield threat.
I wouldn’t be shocked if he jumps to the top of the WR board if he can run fast enough at the Combine.
26. Kansas City – Drake Jackson, Linebacker, USC

The other USC Drake is a straight-up freak.
I think he has Top 5 potential if he can lock it down at one position, either DE or OLB, but I think he would need another year to do that, and that’s not happening.
He ends up being a great edge rusher value at the end of the first.
27. Baltimore – Sean Rhyan, Tackle, UCLA

Rhyan is emerging as one of the top offensive line prospects in this year’s draft.
He’s a really smooth prospect with great skills for a college offensive lineman who could slide right into an NFL OL.
I think he lands with a good team that needs a tackle near the end of the First.
28. Dallas – Zion Nelson, Tackle, Miami
29. Chargers – Kingsley Enagbore, Defensive End, South Carolina
30. Arizona – Derion Kendrick, Cornerback, Georgia
31. Buffalo – Jaxson Kirkland, Tackle, Washington

I think Kirkland slips into the First Round because a lot of teams need tackles in the First Round in this year’s Draft.
He’s a semi-project given he has spent more time at guard and right tackle than left tackle, but his potential is huge, so someone should jump late in the First or in the Second.
32. Tampa Bay – Trent McDuffie, Cornerback, Washington

McDuffie is very much not a project.
He’s a proven, smooth and natural shutdown corner. I think he only slips this far because he’s a little shorter than you like for cornerbacks in 2021.
He would be a great snag for the Bucs, who really need help at CB.
