We’re halfway through one of the weirdest and wildest Pac-12 seasons ever.
One of the ways to show how weird it has been is that it’s hard to even sort out All-Pac-12 teams, especially at quarterback.
Let’s do it though!
First-Team Offense
Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Quarterback, UCLA
There’s no right answer for All-Pac-12 quarterback right now.
It’s hard, but DTR’s numbers, win, and general performance have probably slightly elevated him to the top of the frustrating QB pile in the Conference at the moment.
B.J. Baylor, Running Back, Oregon State
Baylor has exploded into being the next Jermar Jefferson at Oregon State.
He’s racked up yards and touchdowns like crazy in OSU’s dynamic running offense.
Zach Charbonnet, Running Back, UCLA
The Michigan transfer has stepped up in Chip Kelly’s offense and is probably the Pac-12’s scariest running back to defend as a big, fast, smooth back who is consistent and can make big plays.
Drake London, Wide Receiver, USC
No question the Pac-12’s best receiver and probably the best overall player in the Conference in my opinion.
He’s a rare talent in a year where there’s not much elite talent in the Pac-12.
Kyle Philips, Wide Receiver, UCLA
Philips has continued to progress this season and has turned into one of the best WRs in the Conference.
He’s fast and a big play threat who is a pain to defend.
Greg Dulcich, Tight End, UCLA
Dulcich is the unquestioned best receiving tight end in the Conference, and it’s not even close right now.
He’s a rare weapon for the Bruins in a strong year for Pac-12 tight ends.
Kellen Diesch, Offensive Lineman, Arizona State
The super, super senior is taking care of business on Arizona State’s excellent offensive line.
He’s a regular OL of the Week nominee thus far this season.
Nate Eldridge, Offensive Lineman, Oregon State
Another super senior, Eldridge is super keying the Oregon State run game. The best center in the Conference right now.
Alec Anderson, Offensive Lineman, UCLA
Anderson has been the best offensive lineman on a very productive OL so far this season.
Another perennial Pac-12 OL of the Week player.
LaDarius Henderson, Offensive Lineman, Arizona State
Like Diesch, Henderson is a Pac-12 OL of the Week perennial.
He’s killing it in the run game in 2021 thus far.
Joshua Gray, Offensive Lineman, Oregon State
Gray showed his freshman explosion in 2020 wasn’t a one-year thing.
The best young lineman in the conference, he could be a future All-American.
First-Team Defense
Brandon Dorlus, Defensive Lineman, Oregon
Dorlus built on a great Pac-12 Championship Game, and has been massive for the Ducks upfront this year.
He has helped shore up their run defense and is great at also getting to the QB.
D.J. Davidson, Defensive Lineman, Arizona State
Losing Jermayne Lole before the season was painful for the Sun Devils.
Davidson has helped step up and fill that void, one of the best defensive linemen in the Conference.
Mika Tafua, Defensive Lineman, Utah
The Utes just develop great defensive lineman every year.
Tafua is the next and leads the conference in sacks halfway through the season.
Datona Jackson, Defensive Lineman, UCLA
Did you know UCLA’s defense is the Pac-12’s best against the run?
Jackson’s a big reason why and he’s racked up tackles this year and plays well behind the line of scrimmage.
Devin Lloyd, Linebacker, Utah
The only choice for Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year right now.
He’s a machine, racking up tackles, sacks, TFLs and ints.
He’s turned himself into a first-round-level player this year.
Avery Roberts, Linebacker, Oregon State
The Beavers have stepped up on defense in 2021 and Roberts is a big reason why.
A tackling machine, who like Lloyd can also make big plays.
Noah Sewell, Linebacker, Oregon
The youngster is a nightmare at the line of scrimmage for offenses.
He’s played huge for Oregon all season and is especially excellent at getting into the backfield, blowing up plays and getting sacks.
Trent McDuffie, Defensive Back, Washington
McDuffie has missed a little time, but has been almost impossible to throw against all season.
Kyler Gordon, Defensive Back, Washington
Gordon has emerged as a huge asset next to McDuffie and has grabbed a couple impressive interceptions already this year.
Kyu Blu Kelly, Defensive Back, Stanford
Kelly is having a star turn this year and making big play interceptions.
He’s really put it all together as a player, turning himself into an All-Pac-12-level star.
Jack Jones, Defensive Back, Arizona State
Jones is finishing out his really interesting Pac-12 career very well, one of the top DBs in the conference and helping push ASU’s defense to a good start to the year.
First-Team Special Teams
Camden Lewis, Kicker, Oregon
Lewis hasn’t missed a field goal yet this season.
Kyle Ostendorp, Punter, Arizona
Averaging the best average per-punt this year so far.
Britain Covey, Returner, Utah
Yet again a deadly return man and has taken a punt back for a TD.
Second-Team Offense
Jayden Daniels, Quarterback, Arizona State
Maybe having his best season yet, and leading ASU to a good start.
Travis Dye, Running Back, Oregon
Such an underrated talent.
He’s once again coming through for Oregon in the clutch over and over again.
Rachaad White, Running Back, Arizona State
Racking up yards and touchdowns again this season.
Travell Harris, Wide Receiver, Washington State
An underrated veteran who’s making a lot of catches this year.
Calvin Jackson, Wide Receiver, Washington State
See Harris. Jackson is having a similar year to the other talented WSU wideout.
Brant Kuithe, Tight End, Utah
A versatile threat again with a knack for making big scores.
T.J. Bass, Offensive Lineman, Oregon
Playing really well for an Oregon offensive line that’s done a great job running the ball this season.
Sean Rhyan, Offensive Lineman, UCLA
The Blue Chip recruit has turned into a flat out stud for the UCLA offense.
He’s one of the most-talented tackles in the nation, and a reason why the Bruins are running the ball so well this year.
Dohnovan West, Offensive Lineman, Arizona State
The most-talented player on a good ASU OL that’s doing his thing yet again.
Abraham Lucas, Offensive Lineman, Washington State
One of the Pac-12’s best recent pass blockers just keeps on rolling.
Brandon Kipper, Offensive Lineman, Oregon State
Just another Beaver offensive lineman who’s playing really well this year.
Second-Team Defense
Thomas Booker, Defensive Lineman, Stanford
Booker has been a tackling machine, making plays up and down the line all year.
Tuli Tuipulotu, Defensive Lineman, USC
The youngster and younger brother of Marlon T. has been elite on the edge all season, looking like a future star.
Brennan Jackson, Defensive Lineman, Washington State
WSU’s defensive line play has been a pleasant surprise this year and pass rushing specialist, Jackson, has been the best of a strong bunch.
Popo Aumavae, Defensive Lineman, Oregon
Teamed with Dorlus, he’s a big part of why the front of Oregon’s defense has been so strong this year.
Drake Jackson, Linebacker, USC
Jackson is getting back to 2019 form, even if his team is falling apart around him. He’s a word class talent and producing that way this year.
Darien Butler, Linebacker, Arizona State
Another ASU defender who has stepped up this year and is playing excellent football.
Nate Landman, Linebacker, Colorado
Just another good year for this veteran making plays all over the field on defense.
Verone McKinley, Defensive Back, Oregon
McKinley has made a ton of plays on the ball this year so far, leading the conference in interceptions.
Daniel Scott, Defensive Back, Cal
Scott has stepped up this year for Cal as a lights out defender in their secondary.
Armani Marsh, Defensive Back, Washington State
Part of an underrated Cougar defense that has really stepped up in recent weeks, he is grading out very well as a defender right now.
Vonte Davis, Defensive Back, Utah
The Utes have a tough and skilled DB that’s stepping up for them…surprise, surprise.
Second-Team Special Teams
Parker Lewis, Kicker, USC
Lewis has only missed one field goal so far this year.
Josh Watts, Punter, Colorado
Has the second-best punt average in the Pac-12 this year.
Nikko Remigio, Returner, Cal
Averaging a good chunk of yards on kickoffs and has taken one for a touchdown.
