CougFan: ends today for Jacksonville and with it, quite possibly the Jaguars’ tenure of Gardner Minshew. The Jags have secured the No. 1 draft pick and are expected to select Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence, whose early NFL entry is all but certain.
Minshew’s salary next season would make him a bargain backup for the Jaguars, or a solid trade component. But it doesn’t explain why he isn’t starting today vs. Indianapolis.
