By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: As a child, Allen Huddleston cheered on the Jerry Tarkanian-era Bulldogs from the seats at Selland Arena. In college, he helped launch the Rodney Terry-era as a team captain. And now another decade later, he is back at Fresno State in a newly-developed general manager role under head coach Vance Walberg.
The general manager concept is popping up at schools across the country. Famed ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski is the general manager for the men’s basketball program at his alma mater St. Bonaventure.
