By Greg Witter, CougFan: Connor Halliday set records for both passing yards and bodily harm endured while at Washington State from 2011-14, but Saturday night at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency he may have broken the record for most bear hugs by a coaching staff in the span of 15 minutes.
Three members of Jake Dickert’s new WSU staff — offensive coordinator Eric Morris, offensive line coach Clay McGuire and cornerbacks coach Ray Brown — turned the Night with Cougar Athletics gathering into old-home week when they spotted Halliday among the crowd of more than 300.
