After sitting a year behind Dillon Gabriel, Moore emerged as one of the best quarterbacks in college football in 2025 and could have been taken near the top of the NFL Draft.

Instead, Moore is coming back to Oregon after a bitter loss in the College Football Playoff semifinals against eventual national champion Indiana. That decision makes Oregon one of the national title favorites heading into 2026.
