By Jacob Rudner, Sun Devil Source: Arizona State sophomore quarterback and Southern California native Jayden Daniels had a lot more on his mind during Saturday’s pivotal game at UCLA than just trying to deliver an outcome that would positively influence the remainder of his team’s season.
After the Sun Devils beat the Bruins 42-23 to improve to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Pac-12-play, Daniels shared that his grandfather, who passed away from COVID-19 in January, would have celebrated his birthday on Friday.
