Sun Devil Source: Starting as a true freshman in 2019, Arizona State sophomore quarterback Jayden Daniels played relatively conservatively by design, resulting in the lowest interception percentage in school history at .0065 percent with a minimum 301 attempts. Daniels tossed just two interceptions across 338 pass attempts, one coming in a home contest against Colorado and the other a half-ending Hail Mary at Utah.
In a ‘Maroon Monsoon’ Arizona Sports 98.7 radio appearance with Tim Healey Thursday night, ASU coach Herm Edwards expressed his goal of expanding the program’s offensive scoring output, which will be reliant upon Daniels taking more deep shots downfield now that he’s fully adjusted to college football.
