By Griffin McVeigh, On3 Sports: Three weeks of college football have now passed, and some players are beginning to emerge as early Heisman Trophy candidates. It’s still far too soon to decisively say who has a shot to be a finalist, but FanDuel has odds based on what’s taken place thus far.
Unsurprisingly, the list is incredibly quarterback-heavy. Of the 20 players mentioned, all but two of them are quarterbacks. There is even a backup signal-caller making a huge jump in the odds, not being too far behind the starter.
There’s a long way to go between now and December, and we’re sure to see players come and go in the Heisman Trophy race in that time. But for now, these are the ones with the best odds to end up a winner, according to FanDuel.
