By Jake Seymour, SunDevil Source: When junior quarterback Trenton Bourguet came off the bench to replace an injured Emory Jones in Arizona State’s upset win over Washington last season, he was hiding a secret from almost everybody in Sun Devil Stadium.
During that game and the six that followed it, Bourguet was still affected by a lingering foot injury that initially occurred in August of 2021 and limited him through the entirety of the last two seasons.
