By CBS Sports Staff: During a typically slow time on the college football calendar, Fresno State grabbed headlines when it was announced that head coach Jeff Tedford would step down from his position due to ongoing health issues.
This news ended Tedford’s second stint as the Bulldogs’ head coach, and in total the 62-year-old spent five seasons leading the program. During that time, Tedford guided Fresno State to three division titles, two conference titles, and four bowl games (all wins).
