By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: Incoming Fresno State freshman Auckland Asiata was the Bulldogs’ second commit in the 2024 recruiting class. And after his recruiting profile displayed him as a defensive end for the past 14 months, he is now in the process of bulking up to play defensive tackle as a college freshman this fall.
The 6-foot-3 recruit from Sutter (Calif.) High School was evaluated as a 3-Star edge (DE/OLB) talent by 247Sports. He primarily lined up as a 3-4 defensive end during his senior year of high school.
