By CougFan.com: Robbie Rouse, the Washington State running backs coach whose resignation was announced Wednesday morning by WSU, this evening provided Cougfan.com a written statement expressing his sorrow for “a terrible lapse in judgment” that prompted head coach Jimmy Rogers to request his resignation.
WSU’s press release stated that Rouse was departing “due to personal matters.” The Spokesman-Review later reported that Rouse was arrested for DUI by the Washington State Patrol on March 16 after being pulled over on U.S. Highway 195 north of Colfax.
