Dawgman: After eight seasons as head coach of the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, former Washington Husky Mark Brunell is expected to be hired as the next quarterbacks coach of the Detroit Lions, according to the NFL Network. The former Detroit QB Coach, Sean Ryan, earlier moved to Carolina to take over the same position with the Panthers.
Brunell spent 19 years in the NFL playing for five teams: Green Bay, Jacksonville, Washington, New Orleans, and the New York Jets. He has a connection to the Detroit coaching staff.
