Deseret News: Former Utah quarterback Brian Johnson was named offensive coordinator at the University of Florida.
The former Ute, who quarterbacked the 2008 Utah football team to an undefeated 13-0 season featuring memorable comeback wins against Oregon State and TCU and a Sugar Bowl win against powerhouse Alabama, was promoted to offensive coordinator just prior to the start of the 2020 season. Previously, Johnson was quarterbacks coach for the Gators but now adds offensive coordinator to his job duties.
