By Greg Biggins, Rivals On3: Seattle (Wash.) O’Dea defensive lineman David Schwerzel has flipped his commitment from Stanford back to UCLA and will sign with the Bruins.
There are always Signing Day surprises but we never saw this one coming. Schwerzel was an early commitment to UCLA but backed off following the firing of former coach DeShaun Foster.
He committed to Stanford in October and everything looked good to go for the Cardinal but the Bruins were able to land the talented defensive lineman.
