By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: Washington received some more good news from the secondary room as former Oregon Duck cornerback Darren Barkins verbally committed to Washington three weeks after getting offered by the Huskies.
Barkins, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound redshirt freshman from Spring Valley, Calif. who prepped at powerhouse Mater Dei, played in 12 of Oregon’s last 17 games this past season, announced his intentions Monday afternoon.
