By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: After not hearing his name called in the 2024 NBA draft, former Washington Huskies star Keion Brooks Jr. signed a deal on Friday to begin his professional career with the New Orleans Pelicans.
General manager Bryson Graham acquired two Washington alumni in under an hour on Friday, as Brooks’ deal was finalized shortly after the Pelicans traded for Dejounte Murray.
