OregonLive.com: Tony Brooks-James and Bralon Addison, two former Oregon Ducks who were trying to earn a roster spot with the Minnesota Vikings, were released by the team.
Brooks-James signed a reserve/future contract with the Vikings in January, but was released Saturday. Brooks-James was the least experienced running back on the roster and he was waived after less than two weeks of training camp. Addison joined the Vikings after signing a reserve/futures contract in January, but he was also released on Saturday.
