Duck Territory: Former Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert is picking up some hardware for his stellar rookie season. On Tuesday, the Pro Football Writers of American announced that Herbert was named their 2020 Rookie of the Year and their Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The former Duck finished his rookie campaign with 4,336 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Herbert came up just 38 yards shy of passing the rookie passing yard record. The third quarterback selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, Herbert finished with the most starts of any rookie quarterback this season.
