By Matt Prehm, Duck Territory: Former Oregon Duck power forward Eugene Omoruyi didn’t hear his name get called on Thursday night’s NBA Draft, but he still found his way to landing with an NBA franchise heading into the 2021 training camp.
Eugene Omoruyi signed as an undrafted free agent contract with the Dallas Mavericks of the Western Conference. The Mavs didn’t hold any draft picks for the 2021 NBA Draft and were able to land Omoruyi, who was an all-league Pac-12 player this past season. The Mavs in total signed four players who were not drafted during Thursday’s draft.
