Former Bruin Michaela Onyenwere wins AP WNBA Rookie of the Year

By Sam Connon, All Bruins: The trail of smaller honors has expectedly led to the main one for Michaela Onyenwere.

After being named Rookie of the Month all four times over the course of the 2021 season, the New York Liberty forward took home the AP WNBA Rookie of the Year award in a unanimous sweep Wednesday morning.
