Beaver Blitz: The NCAA Transfer Portal has been good to Oregon State since the arrival of head coach Jonathan Smith, and on Saturday the Beavers received another big time transfer. Makiya Tongue, a 6-foot-2, 210 pound wide receiver announced that he was transferring to Oregon State from the University of Georgia.
Tongue, originally part of the 2019 signing class, signed with the Bulldogs out of Baton Rogue (Louisiana) University Lab in 2019. Tongue is the son of former Oregon State All-American, Reggie Tongue, who spent ten years in the NFL as a defensive back.
