By Dean Straka, 247Sports: Schools sponsoring football from the Atlantic Sun and WAC, conferences that compete at the FCS level, are seeking to form a 10-member football-only conference that intends to compete in the FBS, according to Pete Thamel.
WAC football members to be part of the potential realignment move are Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian, Utah Tech, Southern Utah and Tarleton State, while the Atlantic Sun football members involved with are Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas and North Alabama.
