By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: Now that the news is official that Washington is moving on from Mike Hopkins, who coached for seven years at UW, it’s time to move forward and look at the coaching search that Troy Dannen was in the middle of before he left for Nebraska.
The new UW Athletic Director, when hired, may have to pick up the pieces left by Dannen, or Washington may try and make a push to finish off whatever Dannen was able to negotiate before his hasty retreat to Lincoln.
