By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Nick Edwards is expected to be hired as the wide receivers coach at Washington State, according to a report from Bruce Feldman of The Athletic. Edwards spent this past season as an offensive assistant with the Atlanta Falcons and previously worked at Cal, as the offensive coordinator at Cal Poly and the wide receivers coach at Eastern Washington, where he coached Cooper Kupp and Kendrick Bourne.
With the report Edwards will be joining the Cougar staff, WRs coach Joel Filani would appear to be all but gone from the position he held last year.
