Duck Territory: Marcus Mariota has embraced his role as a backup for the Las Vegas Raiders and is catching the eye of head coach Jon Gruden. Following Friday’s practice, Gruden met with the media where he described the former Oregon quarterback as a “dazzling playmaker”.
With Friday being the first day that the offense could go against the defense in the Raiders’ training camp, Mariota got off to a slow start but turned it on per Gruden.
