Ex-Dawg QB Jacob Eason takes starter reps with Carson Wentz out for Colts

By Liam Jenkins, Philly Sports Network: Colts QB Carson Wentz is now out indefinitely after suffering a foot injury at the end of yesterday’s practice, according to Adam Schefter. As far as the Eagles are concerned, this is very bad news.

On the inverse, if Wentz is unable to start the season and Jacob Eason can’t get the Colts firing on all cylinders, there is a chance that the Colts’ playoff hopes slip away and that second-round pick becomes much more valuable.
