By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan:  Eastern Washington University’s David Riley is was officially named the new head coach of men’s basketball at Washington State late Tuesday night. Riley has been the head coach at EWU the last three seasons and was one of the first names floated by many as a possible successor to Kyle Smith. Riley called WSU a “dream job.”
“I am incredibly grateful to President Schulz, Interim Athletic Director Anne McCoy and the athletic department leadership team for allowing me the opportunity to lead the men’s basketball program.
