By any reasonable standard, Georgia is exceeding expectations. After last year’s surprising NCAA appearance, losing star freshman Asa Newell to the NBA draft and being picked 14th in the SEC preseason poll, the Bulldogs are 13-2, losing only to Clemson and defending national champion Florida. They’ve earned their 8-seed.
