Ducks PG Jackson Shelstad could miss rest of season with hand injury

By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: Amidst a day in which the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team put up a fight against the No. 4 Michigan Wolverines but ultimately fell, 81-71, head coach Dana Altman delivered some disappointing news regarding star point guard Jackson Shelstad.

The West Linn native suffered a broken hand before the season that sidelined him for the first game of the season. He returned in the second game and has played in 12 contests before suffering another hand injury against Omaha on Dec. 28.
