Dolphins fielding trade inquiries for former UCLA QB Josh Rosen

The Miami Dolphins recently fielded trade inquiries for quarterback Josh Rosen, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Rosen fell to the third spot on the Dolphins' quarterback depth chart this offseason behind veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick and first-round rookie Tua Tagovailoa.The Dolphins acquired the 2018 No. 10 overall pick in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals in April 2019. He started three games early last season but finished the year as Fitzpatrick's backup.The 23-year-old completed 53.2% of his pass attempts for 567 yards and one touchdown against five interceptions through six games last season. In 20 career appearances (16 starts), Rosen has posted a 3-13 record and thrown 12 TDs against 19 INTs.Head coach Brian Flores hasn't officially named the Dolphins' starting quarterback, but Fitzpatrick is the presumptive candidate to remain under center for Week 1.Tagovailoa, the fifth overall pick last April, began his NFL career recovering from a hip injury. He's been practicing without limitations at training camp, but Flores recently said his injury is a factor in Miami's early-season plans at quarterback.
