By Matt Zemek, UCLA Wire: It doesn’t seem likely that UCLA football can bring in former Tennessee Volunteer quarterback Nico Iamaleava. The signal-caller essentially broke up with the Vols over a lingering NIL dispute. UCLA football doesn’t have the NIL war chest other programs have. Sure, the Big Ten television money is good, but other programs have more resources than the Bruins do. It all seems very unlikely.
Yet, the current world of college sports is so crazy that a lot of illogical and unlikely things happen.
