By Dennis Dodd, CBS Sports: From here on, no one can accuse the College Football Playoff of driving in the slow lane. In recommending an expansion of the four-team bracket to 12 teams on Thursday, a CFP working group favored tripling the playoff field less than two months after saying it was merely considering such a move.
