Dodd: Cal, Stanford interested in ACC, Conference set to evaluate viability

By Dennis Dodd, CBS Sports: California and Stanford have shown interest in joining the ACC, industry sources tell CBS Sports. What’s not known is whether the interest is being reciprocated by the conference.

ACC athletic directors were scheduled to meet to discuss the schools’ viability on a Monday call. ACC presidents meet later this week on the subject. It’s not clear whether either meeting includes exclusive discussion of expansion.
