By Nick Kosko, On3 Sports: Colorado coach Deion Sanders revealed he wanted to take it up a notch with this year’s spring game. He wants his Buffaloes to play an opposing team rather than have an inter-squad squad.
Sanders sees college football in an NFL lens, which is totally fine of course. Perhaps that’s the approach the sport should take when it comes to the offseason and spring.
Treating spring games like the preseason could be a new norm if teams decide to get rid of their spring game or take on Sanders’ idea.
